On a day of protest against the presidential veto of Javier Milei Regarding the new retirement mobility formula, a press conference was called in Neuquén capital. What time and where will it be?
The call was made by the Gremial Front, which is made up of state unions of ATEN, UPCN, ANEL, Sejun, Siprosapune, Fasemp/Sitramune, and the Regional CGT of Neuquén.
This Wednesday’s press conference will start from 11, at the Sitramune facilities located at Tierra del Fuego 235, in the context of this national day of struggle.
The central issue will be against Milei’s veto on pensionss, in repudiation of the repression of retirees, in defense of provincial funds, and also for Education and Public Health.
The Neuquén Regional Delegation of the CGT expressed on Tuesday its rejection of Javier Milei’s presidential veto of the retirement mobility law. “Our retired colleagues are victims of these policies, receiving a minimum of less than 300 thousand pesos,” they warned.
What will the retirees’ march in Neuquén against Milei’s veto be like this Wednesday?
From ATEN Capital they pointed out the importance of provincial retirees participating in the march, highlighting the historical struggles they carried out to achieve rights such as retirement at age 52 for women and 55 for men, with 80% mobile.
“We are defending achievements that are being attacked and cut back at the national level”said a union representative.
The official announcement stated that the activity will be concentrated in the afternoon and the epicenter will be the monument to San Martín in Neuquén. It will start at 5:30 p.m.
