Reyer City League: More Than Just a Tournament, It’s a Community Revolution
Table of Contents
The Reyer City League isn’t simply a 3×3 summer tournament; it’s a dynamic initiative transforming public spaces into vibrant hubs of basketball, entertainment, and community engagement.
The 2025 edition of the Reyer City League demonstrated the power of bringing sport directly to the people, extending the reach of the Reyer brand beyond traditional venues and into the heart of the territory. This isn’t just about the game, but about creating an inclusive experience for everyone, from seasoned players to casual observers.
A League Built on Participation and Passion
With a total of 40 teams and approximately 160 players, the tournament itself forms the core of the event. However, organizers emphasize that the true strength of the City League lies in its ability to foster widespread involvement. “It is not an event only for those who play, but above all for those who pass, stop and let themselves be captured by energy,” a senior official stated.
The league offers a 360-degree show, extending beyond the basketball court. Attendees enjoyed DJ sets, interactive activities like a wheel of luck and upcycling workshops, and opportunities to test their skills in dedicated shooting competitions. This multifaceted approach transforms each event into a unique gathering point for the entire community.
2025: A Tour of Historic Squares and a Thrilling Finale
The 2025 edition proved to be a resounding success, traversing five historic locations, including Jesolo and Mirano, before culminating in a spectacular final at Campo Santa Maria Formosa in Venice. The event drew significant crowds and showcased the growing popularity of the league.
The championship game saw FDC Tunes of Venice emerge victorious, defeating Zero3x3 with a final score of 21-10. Davide Cecchin (Zero3x3) was named Banca Annia MVP of the final, while Cristiano Commello (FDC Tunes) earned the title of New Goose’s Top Scorer of the final.
Supported by a Visionary Network of Partners
The Reyer City League’s success is underpinned by the generous support of its partners. IPerla serves as the main sponsor, demonstrating a commitment to community-focused initiatives.
Additional sponsors include Nico Clothing, De Bona Motors, Banca Annia, New Goose’s, Marin, Rossi Renzo Costruzioni, Pizzeria da Pino, Eureka, and efficient Scarl. Their contributions are vital to the league’s continued growth and impact.
Looking ahead, the Reyer City League is already planning its return in 2026, promising an even more expansive and engaging experience for participants and spectators alike. The appointment is set for next summer, with a new edition of the Reyer City League even richer in surprises, baskets and fun.
