jpnn.comJAKARTA – The Indonesian General Election Commission (KPU) confirmed the vote results of three candidate pairs in the 2024 Presidential Election for West Kalimantan Province (Kalbar).

The KPU has determined that the presidential candidate and vice presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto – Gibran Rakabuming Raka are superior in West Kalimantan.

This is in accordance with the decision at the plenary meeting to recapitulate the results of the vote tally at the national level at the Indonesian KPU Building, Jakarta, Sunday (10/3).

Based on the West Kalimantan KPU’s presentation, the Prabowo-Gibran pair was ahead with 1,964,183 votes.

Then, the Anies-Muhaimin pair received 718,641 votes, and the Ganjar-Mahfud pair received 534,450 votes.

“We can validate the results of the vote counting and recapitulation carried out by the West Kalimantan Provincial KPU for the Presidential and Vice Presidential Elections. Bismillah, they are legal,” said Indonesian KPU Chairman Hasyim Asy’ari at the plenary meeting.

Ratification of the recapitulation results was carried out after considering the suitability of data on voting rights users, the use of ballot papers, as well as the number of valid and invalid votes, which totaled 3,277,815.

“It fits, yes,” he said.
