PKS Gives Recommendation to Riau Islands Pilkada Candidates

The Central Leadership Council of the Prosperous Justice Party (DPP PKS) gave recommendations to the candidate pair for Governor-Deputy Governor of the Riau Islands, Muhammad Rudi-Aunur Rafiq, in the 2024 Riau Islands Pilkada.
jpnn.com – BATAM - The PKS Secretary General Aboe Bakar directly submitted a letter of recommendation to Muhammad Rudi and Aunur Rafiq.
Bahtiar, the Head of the PKS Kepri DPW, said the recommendation letter was submitted directly by the PKS Secretary General Habib Aboe Bakar Al Habsyi.
“As the video that was circulated, the DPP submitted the recommendation directly. Of course, we are in a perpendicular area and have one command,” he said when contacted in Batam, Saturday (10/8).
Bahtiar hopes that the recommendations can be used during the upcoming registration period at the General Elections Commission (KPU).
He added that he was not present at the time of the recommendation submission due to personal matters.
“Hopefully, registration will be safe. Because we don’t know the political dynamics either. We can’t say anything except we pray that there will be no problems,” he said.
The video of the handover of the recommendation letters received shows Aboe Bakar handing them over directly to Muhammad Rudi and Aunur Rafiq.
“Bismillahirrahmanirrahim, Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh. Greetings of health, greetings of happiness. These two (Rudi-Aunur) have received recommendations from the Prosperous Justice Party. God willing, this mandate will be carried out to win the Riau Islands Governor Election. God willing, I will give it to them,” said Aboe while giving the recommendation letter.
PKS gave recommendations to the Muhammad Rudi-Aunur Rafiq pair in the 2024 Riau Islands Regional Election.
