jpnn.comBATAM – Residents affected by PSN Rempang Eco City are willing to move to the location provided by BP Batam in Tanjung Banon, Rempang Island.

Barelang Police Chief, Nugroho Tri Nuryanto, said the relocation was safe.

Referring to data from BP Batam, there are 4 service posts for residents who will take part in the relocation program, namely at RSKI, Galang Subdistrict Office, Cate Village Head Office and PTSP.

The total number of residents who registered was 392 residences, the total number of residents who consulted was 595 residences.

Nugroho explained that the local regional police continued to carry out their duties and functions as a security team so that the relocation of residents and the construction of the Rempang Eco City project continued well and on target.

“We are just securing it, so what, what will be the technicalities of the transfer, what kind of relocation, we from the police are just securing, guarding the PSN so that it is safe, there is no turmoil, that’s all,” he said.

“For example, if someone in the future spreads hoax news about Rempang, that means it’s our problem. “If someone instigates, intimidates, it means it’s our business, that’s all,” continued Nugroho.

The local police continue to carry out their duties and functions as a security team so that the relocation of residents and the construction of the Rempang Eco City project remain safe.
