The Municipal Works Directorate (DOM) reported that the road improvement has reached the municipality of Santa Rita, department of Chalatenango with a total of 1.3 kilometers of a rural street.
“The project initiated by the San Nicolás Piedras Gordas canton, in Santa Rita, will connect the Longitudinal del Norte highway with the old street to San Salvador, thus allowing to boost commerce and the economy of this area in the north of the country,” said the DOM.
According to the DOM, among other works will be changing pipes, construction of drainage works such as speed bumps, gutters, gutters and finally paving with a hydraulic concrete surface. Likewise, it will have a passage work with 36-inch pipe and its respective construction of speed bumps.
“With the National Patching Plan in the urban area, streets in the departmental capital, Comalapa, Concepción Quezaltepeque, Dulce Nombre de María and San Luis del Carmen have been recovered, while works are progressing in La Reina and San Isidro Labrador,” added the DOM. .
