Robert De Niro and his family were spotted leaving their Manhattan home and heading out with their baby, sparking exclusive details about De Niro’s ongoing feud with Donald Trump. De Niro spoke to Rolling Stone magazine in an interview where he expressed his priority to get rid of the former president.

The 80-year-old actor has been outspoken about his disdain for Trump, and has revealed that he feels it is critical for the country to move on from the Trump era. In his interview with Rolling Stone, De Niro said, ‘And my biggest concern now, with everything else, is us getting out of this situation with a monster in Trump. This is a classic grift. If you look at other totalitarian countries like Nazi Germany or the Soviet Union, it will affect everybody in ways you can’t even imagine.’

De Niro’s feud with Trump reignited after he claimed that a portion of a speech he delivered at the Gotham Awards was edited out due to his barbs aimed at the former president. De Niro expressed his frustration with the response to his speech, stating that what happened was due to a misunderstanding and that Trump brings out the worst in people.

The remarks from De Niro prompted an angry response from Trump himself, who took to his social media platform, Truth Social, to brand the actor a ‘total loser’ and criticize his acting talents.

This new controversy comes after De Niro was ordered to pay $1.2 million in damages to his former assistant in a gender discrimination lawsuit. The actor’s company, Canal Productions, was found liable for gender discrimination and retaliation against the former assistant, although De Niro was not found personally liable for the abuse. Both he and his partner, Tiffany Chen, took the stand during the trial.

The ongoing feud between De Niro and Trump continues to escalate, showing that their public disagreements are very much alive.
