Dub Inc and Sika Rlion Announce Extensive 2026 Tour Dates Across France
The celebrated French reggae group, Dub Inc, alongside rising star Sika Rlion, are set to embark on a comprehensive tour of France in January and December 2026, bringing their unique blend of musical styles to audiences nationwide.
Dub Inc, originally formed in Saint-Étienne in 1997, emerged from the local Massa Sound collective, a hub for reggae, ragga, and dub artists. The group officially debuted as a trio in 2003 with the album Diversité, featuring a collaboration with Tiken Jah Fakoly on the track “Life.” They followed up with a second album, Dans le Décor, in 2005.
In 2006, the group rebranded as Dub Inc, expanding to a six-member ensemble consisting of two singer-percussionists, a guitarist, a bassist, a drummer, and two keyboardists. Since then, Dub Inc has consistently released albums and toured extensively, solidifying their position as a leading force in the French reggae scene.
The band, fronted by the dynamic vocal duo of Bouchkour and Komlan, seamlessly blends reggae with elements of dancehall, Kabyle music, and world music. Their performances, delivered in French, English, and Kabyle, champion cultural fusion and melodic richness.
Joining Dub Inc on this tour is Sika Rlion, a talented artist originally from La Réunion who now resides in Montpellier. Rlion’s music is a captivating fusion of her native maloya traditions with contemporary genres like trap, afrobeat, and R&B. She delivers her lyrics in both French and Réunion Creole, showcasing her versatility and artistic depth.
The tour kicks off on January 22, 2026, at Stereolux in Nantes, followed by performances at Le Rocher de Palmer in Cenon on January 24, Le Transbordeur in Lyon on January 28, and L’Aéronef in Lille on January 29. The tour culminates on December 6, 2026, at the Zénith in Saint-Étienne. A highly anticipated performance is scheduled for La Sirène in La Rochelle on January 23, 2026, at 8:00 PM, promising an evening described as “generous and incandescent.”
This tour represents a significant moment for both Dub Inc and Sika Rlion, showcasing the vibrant diversity of the French music landscape and the power of cross-cultural collaboration.
