Rogozin: about five launches are planned from Vostochny in 2022

In 2022, Roskosmos will continue commercial launches from the Vostochny cosmodrome, with a total of about five planned. Dmitry Rogozin, the general director of Roscosmos, told about this.

He said that about the same number of launches are planned in 2022 as in 2021.

“We are actively pursuing a program for a commercial customer whom you know and, most importantly, we will have such an important launch for the entire industry – in the summer through a convenient ballistic“ window ” [будет запущена] mission “Luna-25” – he said.

In 2021, five launches were made from Vostochny – on March 25, April 26, May 28, July 1 and October 14.
