The head of the Roscosmos corporation, Dmitry Rogozin, announced his readiness to give a command to stop the operation of the European ERA manipulator, which is installed on the Russian module of the International Space Station. The top manager wrote about this in his Telegram channel.

As Rogozin noted, such a decision can be made after the head of the European Space Agency, Josef Aschbacher, notified the termination of interaction on the ExoMars mission. Rogozin stressed that the ESA, by its decision, brought to naught the work of thousands of European and Russian specialists.

Recall that the ERA manipulator was developed in Europe. It is intended for transporting various cargoes and scientific and technical equipment outside the ISS, as well as carrying cargo into space and returning back to the station.
