Like Uini Atonio, the Lyon second row finally says he is ready to continue the adventure with the XV of France.

On the evening of the World Cup quarter-final South Africa lost (28-29), Romain Taofifenua announced his international retirement at the age of 33. Like Uini Atonio. And like the right pillar of La Rochelle, the second row of LOU with 49 selections has reversed his decision.

«What is certain is that I played my last World Cup. But after the brutal end we experienced and with a little perspective, it’s hard to say stopconfided the player in the columns of Le Progrès. I have exchanged a lot lately with William Servat (the forwards coach, Editor’s note). So we’ll see. If the XV of France needs me, I will be there…»

As a reminder, Romain Taofifenua will join his new club, Racing 92, at the end of the season.
