“Real” striker Cristiano Ronaldo commented on winning another Golden Ball, reports football.ua.
France Football” announced that the Portuguese footballer won the “Golden Ball” for the 4th time. Last season, Ronaldo won the Euro-2016 and the Champions League as part of the Portuguese national team and Real Madrid.
“For me, winning the Golden Ball for the fourth time is a great honor. I feel like it’s the first time. I never thought that I would win this award four times. I am very happy,” Marca quoted Ronaldo as saying.
“Taking this opportunity, I want to thank my teammates in the national team and “Real”. I feel proud and happy.”
“If “Real” and the Portuguese national team had not won, I would not have won the Ballon d’Or. Therefore, I always put the team first,” said the Portuguese.
