Director Ramgopal Verma has been continuously criticizing the film which has broken box office collection records.

Alluri Sitarama Raju and Kumaram Bheem are the real characters in RRR. Alia Bhatt was the female lead in the film starring Ram Charan and Junior NTR.
Bollywood star Ajay Devgan also played the lead roles in the film. Jr. N.T.R. Kumaram appeared as Bheem and Ram Charan Alluri Sitarama as Raju in the film. Alia played the role of Sita in the film. The film earned more than 1000 crores globally.
