‘RRR’, directed by Rajamavuli and starring Jr. NDR, Ramcharan and others, was released on March 25 last month. Within days of its release, the film set a number of new records.
The film, which easily crossed Rs 100 crore to Rs 500 crore, has now crossed Rs 1000 crore. However, it seems unlikely that ‘RRR’ will surpass the total gross of Rs 1,800 crore in ‘Bhagupali 2’.
Since today and tomorrow is a holiday, a few more crores may be available in addition to this film. Tamil, Kannada and Hindi films ‘Beast, KGF2, Jersey’ will be released next week. All the three films will fully participate in theaters across India. So, it is unlikely that ‘RRR’ will gross Rs 800 crore in the next few days.
In other words, it is doubtful whether it will cross Rs 50 crore. Therefore, it is true that ‘RRR’ is unlikely to break the ‘Bhagwati 2’ record. ‘RRR’ is all set to complete its glory with a record of 1000 crores only.
