Chennai: The bond worth Rs 100 crore of Shree Nayanar Balaji, son of BJP legislator Nayanar Nagerandran, has been cancelled due to his alleged involvement in a land deed scam.
A complaint was filed against Balaji, accusing him of fraudulently registering a land deed covering an area of 1.3 acres in the Chennai-Virukampakkam area at Radhapuram. Acting on this complaint, the Deputy Head of Deeds, Radhapuram Zone, has issued the order for bond cancellation.
Shree Nayanar Balaji is currently holding the position of Vice President of Tamil Nadu State BJP Youth Team. However, action has been taken against him after it was confirmed that he had committed fraud in relation to the land deed registration.
The Arapor movement, a local activist group, alleged that the deed was fraudulently registered at the Radhapuram Registrar’s office. Nayanar Nagerandran, the BJP legislator, is currently serving as Tirunelveli Assembly Member. Interestingly, he also holds the position of BJP state vice president.
