In Gujarat, Rs. Prime Minister Narendra Modi today laid the foundation stone for projects worth Rs 22,000 crore.
With assembly elections soon to be held in various states including Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi left for his home state of Gujarat yesterday on a three-day visit. Attending the Adijati Maha Sammelan in Doha today, the Prime Minister inaugurated various development projects worth Rs 22,000 crore and laid the foundation for new projects. The event was attended by a large number of people including the Chief Minister of Gujarat. Following this, he launched projects worth about Rs 1,400 crore.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also inaugurated the Rs 840 crore Dahod District Southern Regional Water Supply Project, which was built on the banks of the Narmada River. He said, “More than Rs 22,000 crore projects have been launched today for Dahode and Panchmahal districts.
Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated the Global AYUSH Investment and Innovation Summit at the Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
The event was attended by the Prime Minister of Mauritius Pravind Kumar Jugnath and the Director-General of the World Health Organization, Dr. Tetros Caprices. Speaking on the occasion, the Prime Minister said, “The idea of this summit came to me after realizing that AYUSH has strengthened the immune system of the people during the plague.
