Planetarium Show “Our Exotic Universe” to Premiere in Bochum
Bochum,Germany – October 9,2025 – A new planetarium show,”Our Exotic Universe,” developed by researchers from the ruhr Astroparticle and Plasma Physics (RAPP) Center in collaboration with the Bochum Planetarium,will premiere on October 12,2025.The show celebrates the tenth anniversary of the Bochum Planetarium and aims to bring cutting-edge astrophysics research to a wider audience.

RAPP Center Research:

- Future research priorities in artificial intelligence and collision-dominated plasmas.
Funding & Collaboration:
The production was funded by the German Research Foundation and is linked to the Collaborative Research Center 1491 “The Interplay of Cosmic Matter – from the Source to the Signal.” The show features images captured by researchers using telescopes in locations like Antarctica, La Palma, and CERN.
