/ Russian media revealed, on Tuesday, that the Russian Federal Security Service arrested a woman holding Russian and American citizenship in the city of Yekaterinburg, located in the Ural Mountains, on suspicion of committing treason due to her collecting money for the Ukrainian army.

According to the Russian TASS news agency, the Federal Security Service said that the 33-year-old woman, who lives in Los Angeles, was collecting money for a Ukrainian organization whose ultimate beneficiary would be the Ukrainian army.

“The FSB in Yekaterinburg thwarted the illegal activities of a 33-year-old woman, a resident of Los Angeles, who holds Russian and American citizenship,” TASS quoted the FSB as saying.

The agency did not mention the woman’s name.
