Russia covers more than 40 percent of Greece’s natural gas needs and fully fulfills its obligations. This was stated by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov.

He also noted that within the framework of the existing long-term agreements, supplies were increased, while the United States, on the contrary, reduced the export of blue fuel to Greece by 43 percent.

The Kremlin spokesman also reminded that Russia is trying in every possible way to explain to Europe the need for stability in the gas market, but Brussels chose to purchase on the spot market and “green energy”. At the same time, he stressed, renewable energy sources are not stable.
