Ukraine’s Deputy Defense Minister Hannah Malyar says 4,300 Russian soldiers have been killed so far in the war with Russia. Russian President Vladimir Putin has declared war on Ukraine since February 24 amid protests from around the world. Ukrainian civilians are also carrying guns and blocking Russian troops’ operations in a bid to bolster the army. In Ukraine, innocent people are being killed as civilians and children carrying guns to defend the country without proper training. Many countries, including the United States, have been providing arms and cash assistance to Ukraine to fight Russia’s war.
The United States and the European Union have imposed various sanctions on Russia since the start of the invasion of Ukraine. In retaliation, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced various sanctions against the countries involved and intensified the attack on Ukraine. The Russian military, which has been attacking Ukraine from all four directions, is now using missiles. Oil depots, gas pipeline missiles and residential areas are also being targeted. Ukrainian President Zhelensky has accused Russia of committing genocide in Ukraine.
Many countries have offered to help Ukraine. As of yesterday, the Ukrainian government had claimed that 198 people, including 3 children, had been killed and more than 1,000 wounded in Russia’s war effort.
