/ On Thursday, the Russian Investigative Committee revealed the details and identity of the perpetrators of the attack on the Crocus City Hall near Moscow, which left 143 people dead and dozens injured, noting that they had “connections to Ukrainian nationalists.”

The Russian commission stated, “Working with the detained terrorists, examining the technical devices confiscated from them, and analyzing information related to financial transactions made it possible to obtain evidence of their links with Ukrainian nationalists.”

She added, “Investigators have information confirming that the perpetrators of the attack received large sums of money and cryptocurrencies from Ukraine, which were used in preparing for this crime.”

The same committee also announced the arrest of another suspect involved in financing the “terrorists” who carried out the attack, adding, “We will ask the court to detain him in custody.”

This comes at a time when Ukraine categorically denies any connection to the bloodiest attacks in Russia in 20 years.

For its part, the White House said on Thursday that ISIS was solely responsible for the concert hall attack in Moscow, noting that Washington had conveyed a written warning to Russian security services of an attack by extremists.

ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack via Telegram, saying that its fighters “attacked a large gathering on the outskirts of the Russian capital, Moscow.”
