New Delhi: US and French leaders have said that US President Joe Biden and Russian President Vladimir Putin have agreed to discuss the Ukraine issue amid escalating tensions between Russia and Ukraine.
A statement from the office of French President Emmanuel Macron called on the two leaders to attend the summit to ensure security and stability in Europe. But the White House said in a statement that the president had said he would only take part in the talks if he was assured that there would be no occupation. The summit was made possible after ongoing talks between Emmanuel Macron, Biden, Putin and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
