Kyiv: Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation VK Singh has confirmed that an Indian student was shot dead in Ukraine. The incident was part of the evacuation of Indian students as part of Operation Ganga. But more details are still unclear as to who was shot or what happened.
The incident took place on the way from Kiev to another safe house. Meanwhile, VK Singh told ANI that efforts were being made to evacuate as many people as possible.
A student has been killed in a Russian shelling in the city of Harkiv. Naveen, a final-year student at Harkiv National Medical University, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, Ukraine has confirmed that there was a Russian attack on the Enerhaodar nuclear power plant in Ukraine. Ukraine has warned that the collapse of a nuclear power plant could lead to a catastrophe worse than Chernobyl.
