The massive attacks by Ukrainian drones that took place during the early hours of Wednesday will not go unpunished, warned the spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zajárova, who described this action as “terrorist”. Zajárova denounced that the Ukrainian drones, part of which attacked a military airfield in the Pskov region in northwest Russia, almost 700 kilometers from Ukraine, would not have overcome this distance without data from Western satellites. According to the authorities, at least four Il-76 military transport planes were damaged and caught fire as a result of the attack. In addition to the Pskov airfield, located tens of kilometers from Estonia and Latvia, NATO member countries, the presence of drones, all shot down, according to the Russian Defense Ministry, was documented in other Russian regions such as Bryansk, Oryol, Kaluga, Ryazan, Ruza and the Moscow region.
