Seven civilians have been killed in a Russian airstrike in the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv.

Russia has launched a major missile attack on a fuel depot in the Odessa region of Ukraine. The Russian offensive, which targeted the city of Odessa near the Black Sea, left the area surrounded by sugarcane. The attack has caused fuel shortages for the Ukrainian military.

In Kharkiv and Sloboda districts, Russian troops launched an attack on residential buildings at around 6pm local time yesterday. Buildings, including more than a dozen houses, were damaged. Seven people were killed and 34 were injured, including three children. Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Selensky has accused Russian forces of carrying out genocide in cities, including Pucha, in which hundreds of civilians have been killed. He said sanctions against Russia were not enough.

Selensky has said that there is no need to ask the world powers for weapons to defend Ukraine and that they should be given those weapons. Russia, meanwhile, has said no civilians were killed in Pucha.
