The Ukrainian General Staff estimates that since the beginning of the invasion of their country, on February 24, the Russian army has suffered 18,900 casualties, including dead, wounded or prisoners, military sources reported today from kyiv. The Russian army has also lost 698 tanks, 1,891 armored vehicles, 198 missile launchers, 159 planes, 135 helicopters and 111 drones, among other military equipment, according to the updated balance released this Thursday by the Ukrainian General Staff. This same source warns, however, that these are mere estimates, since it cannot access reliable data from the areas most affected by Russian attacks and especially in the separatist regions of Donbas, in the east, as well as in the besieged city of Mariupol.
