Russian developers of information security tools for banks, telecom operators and government information systems cannot fulfill orders due to interruptions in the supply of foreign components. In particular, the Russian vendors UserGate and Security Code faced problems. This was told to Vedomosti by a source in one of the companies developing cybersecurity systems. The companies themselves confirmed this information.
We are talking about firewalls from UserGate, which are used to filter traffic by telecom operators or to fulfill the requirements of Roskomnadzor to block access to the registry of prohibited sites by cloud providers. Also, problems arose with the manufacturer of electronic locks “Sobol” – the company “Security Code”. These locks are used to protect against unauthorized access, for example, in government systems containing information that constitutes a state secret.
