Following the Ukrainian drone attack on Moscow over the weekend, and hours after Volodimir Zelensky’s claim that the war is coming to russia Vladimir Putin launched a deadly bombardment at various points in central Ukraine, includings the president’s own hometownleaving there a balance of at least four deaths, and possibly people trapped in rubble. The Russian missile attack on Krivoy Roh, the birthplace of the Ukrainian president, in the Dnipropetrovsk region hit residential buildings.
This was announced by the Ukrainian Interior Minister, Ihory Klymenko, on Telegram as reported by RBC-Ukraine. The city, the official said, was hit by two missiles, one crashed into a four-story school buildings and the second destroyed two floors of a residential buildingwhere a fire broke out.

Meanwhile, Ukraine’s Interior Minister Igory Klymenko strongly criticized citizens who post images of Russian bombings in the country on social media, thus unknowingly aiding Russian forces
“More than 17 months of total war. And there are still those who play along with the enemy by filming and publishing almost live images of the bombings,” he wrote on Telegram. “Russian propagandists are very happy with such content.. If they do not understand the threat of their actions, we will explain it to them personally with the Penal Code in hand,” he threatened.

Meanwhile, five civilians were reportedly wounded in Sunday’s Russian shelling in the Kherson region of southern Ukraine, the head of the regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, announced on Telegram, the Ukrinform news agency reported.
“In just one day, the invaders fired 358 shells from mortars, artillery, Grad multiple-missile launchers, tanks and drones into the region. Thirty-six shells were fired at the city of Kherson,” Prokudin wrote.
The governor emphasized that the Russians targeted the residential districts of the region and to the area of a plant and a company in the city.
Krivoy Rog, Zelensky’s hometown, was bombed in mid-June. At least 12 people were killed in this attack, against a four-story residential building and a warehouse.
Moscow steps up attacks
Moscow has intensified attacks on Ukrainian military infrastructure in response to the kyiv attacks on Russian territory, justified this Monday the Russian Defense Minister, Sergei Shoigu.
“In the context of the failure of the so-called ‘counteroffensive’, kyiv…has focused on carrying out terrorist attacks against civilian infrastructure,” he said.
“The intensity of our attacks against Ukrainian military installations… has increased significantly,” said the minister, who did not detail that the bombings on Monday had hit residential buildings in Ukraine.
