For the eighth time in eight weeks, Russia has launched a barrage of missiles at targets across Ukraine.
Significant disruptions have been reported, mainly in the eastern part of Ukraine.
Russia’s new attacks on Ukraine have resulted in a complete power outage in areas including Kiev and the southern city of Odesa.
Ukraine said four people were killed in the attacks.
Missile attacks
However, it is believed that these missile attacks, which came after the last two weeks, may have caused less damage than on previous occasions.
Ukraine says it shot down 60 of the 70 missiles it fired, but Russia says it hit all 17 of its intended targets.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that Russia’s attacks have affected electricity supply in neighboring Moldova.
Explosions
The attack on Ukraine comes hours after a series of explosions at two air bases inside Russia.
Attacks in Ryazan and Saratov regions killed three Russian soldiers and wounded four others.
Russia’s Defense Ministry said two planes were slightly damaged.
