In this connection, the Government of Tamil Nadu has issued a press release: ‘The Government of Tamil Nadu has allocated 7.5 per cent seats in all vocational reservation sections for students studying in government schools on a priority basis and is accepting and implementing all fees including tuition and accommodation fees for Class X and Class XII. The government also pays for the education of students who finish in the top three at the state and district levels in state exams. Similarly, the Tamil Nadu government has set another crown for the struggle for social justice by legally establishing a 50 per cent quota for backward students in the medical education quota provided by the states to the central pool.

Furthermore, realizing that education is the most important tool for creating and achieving a social and egalitarian society, this Government is working diligently in the way shown by the late Chief Minister Karunanidhi with its lofty goal that all the youth of Tamil Nadu should reach higher education for its development, especially in providing benefits and assistance to students.

In addition, the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly, which convened on 8-2-2022 as a follow-up to the social justice struggle to abolish the NEET exam system for the octagonal medical education opportunity of disadvantaged rural marginalized students from poor middle class families, passed the NEET Exemption Bill unanimously at a special meeting and approved by the President. In order to obtain, it has been sent to the Governor. It is a starting point for restoring the right to education of the backward student wealth in the society and illuminating their lives.

“Expand knowledge; Innovate science! ” Said the revolutionary poet Bharathidasan. In that way, expand and develop the knowledge of future generations; Boost scientific innovation; Recognizing that it is our vital duty to sow and nurture new ideas in the hearts of the youth, so far, various educational policies have been formulated and implemented in the country. However, today’s scientific age is growing by the minute. Some innovations that were unimaginable even in a dream a few years ago, are flourishing today and spreading the scent of knowledge. Today’s science is doomed to become obsolete tomorrow. Therefore, as students see the scientific dawn of the future, it becomes imperative of the times that projects be developed in new dimensions in line with academic development.

Accordingly, it was announced in the last financial statement for the year 2021-22 that “this Government will set up a High Level Committee of Educators and Experts to formulate a unique State Education Policy for the State in line with the historical heritage, present situation and future objectives of Tamil Nadu”.
