Sabbir Hasan Nasir has been appointed as the new Managing Director (MD) of Chain Supershop Sapna. Dream ownership company ACI Limited has recently appointed him as MD.
His appointment has been effective since May 1. Prior to this, he was the Executive Director of Dream. On Wednesday (May 8) this information was informed in a notice from the side of the dream.
It is said in the notification that for more than 28 years, Sabbir Hasan Nasir has worked in important positions in various multinational and domestic corporate organizations. In 1996, he obtained a first class degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering (BUET). He started his career at Bata Shoe Limited. While working at Bata Shu, he obtained an MBA degree from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) of Dhaka University. Later went to work at Golfret H&PC Limited in Angola. There he oversaw Unilever’s manufacturing operations.
Sabbir Hasan Nasir served as the Chief Executive Officer or CEO of Otbi from 2006 to 2011. He joined Sapna as Executive Director in 2012. Under his leadership Sapna has become a leading brand in Bangladesh.
According to the circular, ACI Group Managing Director Arif Daula appreciated the leadership of Sabbir Hasan Nasir.
