Sabrina Carpenter Concludes Record-Breaking ‘Short n’ Sweet’ Tour, Eyes New Creative Ventures
Sabrina Carpenter recently wrapped her 14-month “Short n’ Sweet” Tour, solidifying her status as a major arena-level performer and capping a period of significant artistic growth with the release of two albums – 2023’s Short n’ Sweet and this summer’s Man’s Best Friend.
The tour concluded on November 23 in Los Angeles, leaving Carpenter reflecting on a dream realized. “This show really was everything I’ve dreamt of making since I was young,” she shared via Instagram. The experience wasn’t just about the music; it was a fully immersive creative vision, spearheaded by Carpenter’s sister Sarah and Dannah Gottlieb.
A Penthouse Stage and a Dedicated Fanbase
The tour’s set design was particularly lauded for its ingenuity, transforming each venue into the interior of a retro-cool penthouse apartment. Details included a three-story window, two spiral staircases, a fireplace, and a striking fur-covered, circular bed. Carpenter described the stage as a “literal house that became a home,” fostering a unique connection with her audience.
That connection proved reciprocal. “You guys sold out every single show in some of my dream bucket list venues and reminded me each and every night why I love what I do and I’m so lucky to do it,” Carpenter expressed. She playfully added, “I truly think I’ll look back on this tour when I’m old and gray and wish I could step back into my go go boots just oneee more time.”
Beyond Entertainment: Philanthropy and Voter Engagement
The “Short n’ Sweet” Tour wasn’t solely focused on entertainment. Carpenter revealed the tour raised over $1.5 million for organizations including The Jed Foundation, Best Friends Animal Society, and Trans Law Center. Furthermore, the tour facilitated the registration of “tens of thousands of new voters” through a partnership with Headcount.
Carpenter extended heartfelt gratitude to everyone involved, from those who attended the shows to those who offered support from afar. “If you came to see a show, if you watched and cheered us on from afar or if you only tuned in for a three-second position, I cannot thank you enough,” she said. “I love you and I’m missing you already.”
From Touring to the Silver Screen and Beyond
Looking ahead, Carpenter is returning to her acting roots with a leading role in and production of a musical inspired by Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland. The project, slated for release by Universal Pictures, will be directed and adapted for film by Lorene Scafaria. In September, Carpenter also announced her participation in a Muppet Show special helmed by Seth Rogen, expected to premiere on Disney+ next year.
Before these new ventures fully take shape, Carpenter will be recognized for her musical achievements. Man’s Best Friend has received six Grammy nominations. Following the awards ceremony, she is scheduled for five festival appearances in South America in March and will co-headline the 2026 Coachella Valley Music & Arts festival alongside Karol G and Justin Bieber.
