Malappuram: Panakkad Sadiqali Shihab has been elected as the state president of the Muslim League. Hyder Ali Shihab elected a new president at a high-level meeting following his death. He will also chair the party’s National Political Affairs Committee.
Fifty-seven-year-old Sadiqali Thangal is currently a member of the League’s High Level Committee and Malappuram District President. Hyder Ali is their younger brother. Sadiqali was nominated by senior member Rashidali Shihab. This was unanimously accepted. Subsequently, the National President of the Muslim League, KM Khader Moin, announced the new President.
