Salman Khan rejects Lucifer’s Telugu remake of Godfather Salman will be making a guest appearance in the movie starring Chiranjeevi. It is reported that Salman had offered around Rs 20 crore to act in the film but he turned it down. ‘Would you pay me to act in a movie for you?’ According to reports, Salman Khan asked Chiranjeevi if he was emotional.
It is learned that Salman has been approached for the role of Saeed Masood, played by Prithviraj in the upcoming Telugu film Chiranjeevi as Stephen Nedumpalli played by Mohanlal. Chiranjeevi tweeted welcoming Salman to the film.
Filming for the movie is in progress. This is Chiranjeevi’s 153rd film. Nayanthara will be seen in Telugu as Priyadarshini Ramdas, played by Manju Warrier in Malayalam. This is Salman’s first time acting in Telugu.
The film is directed by Jayam Mohan Raja. Neerav Shah is the cinematographer. The music is by S. Thaman. Silva is the conflict director. Silva also directed Lucifer’s Conflict.
Chiranjeevi acquired the rights to the remake of the film after Lucifer became a huge hit. Though he liked the film, Chiranjeevi demanded that changes be made to make it a mass film full of romance and action. Later, the names of Sujeeth and VV Vinayak came to direct the film, but Tamil director Mohan Raja became a part of the project as the changes in the script were not satisfactory to the actor.
