Within the framework of the “Ibero Dialoga” forum, organized by the Universidad Iberoamericana, Solomon Chertorivsky, candidate for the Citizen Movement to the Head of Government from Mexico City, appeared this Thursday before the student community to discuss his vision for the city.

Chertorivski, who has focused his campaign on changing the way of doing politics, highlighted the importance of having clear objectives and aspirations for the city, and the need to materialize changes that society demands.

“Let’s think about missions,” urged the candidate, highlighting the importance of structuring concrete actions to achieve these objectives.

During his speech, the candidate stressed the relevance of direct dialogue with young people, describing it as “pure air.”

He highlighted the need for students to know his life story and his proposals for governing the city.

One of the central issues addressed by Chertorivski was the environment, where he reaffirmed his commitment to closing the Tula thermoelectric plant.

Likewise, he emphasized the problem of mobility and the housing shortage, proposing greater construction of affordable and well-located homes.

Migration, citizen security, the crisis in the health system and the lack of transportation infrastructure were also topics addressed by the candidate.

In relation to the proposal to move the Mexico City airport, Chertorivski mentioned that this measure would not only benefit in terms of connectivity, but would also promote the economic and social development of the east of the capital.

Chertorivski called on young people to place their trust in him and help him spread his career and proposals to more people.

“I have no doubt that I am the most prepared to lead a city as complex as CDMX,” said the Citizen Movement candidate.

Chertorivski’s presentation before the students of the Universidad Iberoamericana is part of his strategy to approach various sectors of the population and consolidate his candidacy in the next elections.
