The global focus of the advances and rights in social, cultural and business matters of the LGTBIQ collective to relocate Santa Cruz de Tenerife as the venue for Culture & Business Pride, which since its inauguration seven years ago promotes a complementary proposal to the Pride celebrations. Six days this coming summer, where the activities that make visible the work of the LGTBIQ+ collective in different fields from culture, business, science or technology will take place in a transversal way, and that will culminate with the International Alan Turing Awards Gala on July 27.
Among the names already confirmed in this edition, and who will visit Santa Cruz de Tenerife during the last week of July, is Samantha Fox, pop icon and sex symbol in the 80swho in 2003 announced his marriage to his former manager, Myra Stratton, thus normalizing the visibility of LGTBIQ+ women. Paco Len, who has succeeded as an actor, screenwriter, director and producerwill be another of the guests in this edition: the organizers have understood how through their different audiovisual works their intention to eliminate barriers and make the collective visible can be glimpsed. Eduardo Casanova, an actor who in recent times has evolved to be behind the cameraand whose creativity has led him to advertising production, has also been invited by Culture & Business Pride.

The event, which is sponsored by the Cabildo de Tenerife through Turismo de Tenerife, the Autonomous Organism for Culture of the City Council of Santa Cruz, and Turismo de Gobierno de Canarias through Promotur, is completely free, so for a week visitors will be able to attend dozens of activities in different venues of the city in addition to massive outdoor concerts.
