Samsung has announced another entry-level device: the Galaxy F14

by time news

Samsung has announced another entry-level phone called the Galaxy F14 5G. According to the company, this is a relatively advanced phone for its price range, which is below the $180 threshold, and one of the manifestations of this is the Exynos 1330 processor, which, according to the company, is the only one in this field that is produced with relatively advanced 5 nanometer lithography, and of course also offers 5G support.

The screen of the Galaxy F14 offers a diagonal of 6.6 inches. It is a PLS LCD screen with FHD+ resolution that also benefits from Corning’s Gorilla Glass 5 protection – and by the way, this is a protection that you will not find in the Galaxy A14 and M14 devices that were launched very recently.

Another thing that the company treats as unique at the phone’s price point is the battery. It offers a relatively large working volume of 6,000 mAh with charging at a maximum of 25 watts – better than the other two entry-level/mid-range phones mentioned above with only 15 watts.

On the back there are only two cameras: first with a 50 megapixel sensor and next to it a macro camera with a 2 megapixel sensor. In front, under the notch, in the shape of a relatively large drop, there is a 13 megapixel camera.

The device will hit the actual market next week with Android 13 on top of the One UI Core 5.1 interface. Samsung guarantees two operating system updates, that is, up to Android 15, and up to 4 years of security updates. The price for the 4/128 GB memory version of the phone will be about $155, while the 6/128 GB memory version will cost about $175.
