Just before the Passover cleaning, you may be debating whether to equip yourself with a new vacuum cleaner, which in recent years has become a cool gadget for all intents and purposes. So just before you go for Shiomi, RoboRock, Drimi and of course the head of the vacuum cleaner kingdom, the Dyson – there is a relatively new player in the market, and it is Samsung, which will be happy for you to bring its Jet into your home, and along the way it launches an interesting solution. Annoying us with all the other pumps.

Charging 2 batteries at the same time, but that’s not the interesting twist

The Jet Di looks like a pretty standard cordless vacuum cleaner, but it comes with a 5-stage filter system: in the first phase containing the main engine large particles are filtered, in two dense metal mesh plus medium particles, the 3rd part supports the suction power with 9 mini -Pumping engines that take up smaller parts, and finally – Phase 4 is a rinsing microfilter and Phase 5 is the one that releases the air out after a final filter of 0.3 to 10 micron dust. The dust was collected in a 0.8-liter tank, and according to Samsung it is completely washable. Samsung claims that 99.99% (but what) of the particles that are pumped are trapped inside the vacuum cleaner, and do not come out again as happens in some of the other vacuum cleaners.

The Jet battery is removable and lasts for up to 60 minutes of cleaning, which is quite standard, and is capable of charging in 3.5 hours (and should retain 70% of its power after 5 years of standard use). The main twist comes in that the charging station is able to charge the battery in the vacuum and also one more battery, so you can switch between them if necessary in the middle of the cleaning without waiting for a full charge. The Jet comes with a small display that will show you the battery status, the pumping status and also alerts in case of crashes, filters that are not installed properly and will also show you the type of brush you have attached.

The suction power reaches up to 200AW. For comparison, the new Dyson V15 reaches a power of up to 240AW – which in our experience is very, very powerful. So the Jet is not the most powerful vacuum cleaner in the environment, but it is not the thing that caught our attention in it.

The end to emptying the vacuum cleaner?

One of the things we have complained about more than once in Dyson and the competing vacuum cleaners, is the fact that even in 2022 we need to empty the pumping tank of the vacuum cleaners with annoying mechanisms that cause the dust to disperse, and you to touch it. So the Jet does something interesting, and if you agree to open your wallet a little longer, you can purchase an extra in the form of Station Clean. This is a kind of small station into which you put the dust container, and it empties the container directly into a dedicated airtight bag that needs to be replaced once every two to three months. We have seen such and other features in robotic vacuum cleaners like Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra and many others – but we have not seen cordless vacuum cleaners that contain such features.

Samsung claims that here too 99% of the particles will not be released into the room air, and in general, this seems like an interesting solution for people who are a little more sensitive to dust or hate the existing emptying mechanisms in vacuum cleaners.

The Jet 90 (or in its full name that looks more like a cat has jumped on your keyboard, VS20R9046T3) is the most advanced model Samsung offers here, and it comes with the dual charging stand (which also does not need wall mounting, which is also nice) and a telescopic pole next to a price tag Of NIS 2,790. The Jet 75 comes with the same suction power and the same working hours, but with a wall-mounted charging stand and without the rod at a price of NIS 2,390. The cheapest model, the Jet 60 comes with a more convenient price tag of NIS 1,790, but with less pumping power of 150AW, shorter working times, slightly less sophisticated heads, no display and with a less convenient emptying tank for cleaning. The vacuum cleaner stand is sold separately at a price of NIS 799.
