Samsung plans to launch a tablet with a foldable screen soon

by time news

Not on the phone alone, it turns out. Samsung, which in two days is supposed to add to its official product line the next generation of folding phones in the Fold and Flip family, does not intend to leave the folding screen only to phones.

According to a report on the Korean site Naver, Samsung is working on a new tablet that will be the first on the market to offer a foldable screen, and it should be called the Galaxy Tab Z. Moreover, according to the site, it will be launched at the same time as the Galaxy Tab S9 family of tablets, with the term in question being about six months.

As the name suggests, the folding of the screen should not be standard as in phones on the middle line, but in the form of the letter Z, meaning folding on two axes. As you remember, already more than a year ago the company presented a prototype for a tablet with a screen that folds in this way, and apparently now the time of realization is approaching.
