The program aims to provide consumers with access to premium Samsung devices at a lower price point while minimizing electronic waste. In the UK and Germany, the program will operate under the “Certified Re-Newed” name, while French consumers will find it branded as “Refurbished Premium By Samsung” (or “Reconditionné Premium par Samsung”). Despite the differing names, a company release confirms the core offering remains consistent across all three European nations.
Availability will vary depending on the specific model and storage configuration, with some options currently limited. As of now, the Galaxy S25 series – including the Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra – are featured, though the Edge and FE models are not yet included in the program, likely due to their later release cycles.
Rigorous refurbishment Process Ensures Quality
Samsung emphasizes that only devices in top condition are eligible for the CRN program. Each unit undergoes a comprehensive refurbishment process, including meticulous cleaning and more than 100 quality tests. Should repairs be necessary, only genuine Samsung parts are utilized, including a brand new, certified battery. Moreover,all devices receive the latest software updates and are assigned new IMEI numbers,effectively giving them a fresh digital identity.
The commitment to quality extends to packaging and accessories. Refurbished phones are shipped in new, recyclable packaging and include the standard accessories – currently a USB-C cable and a SIM ejector tool.
Warranty and Extended Protection
