Samsung’s flagship QN900B TV delivers style, quality and performance

The infinity-edge screen means there are no ugly bezels to reduce viewing area, while the entire unit is so thin that it practically disappears when rotated sideways.

If I didn’t have to pay that amount back, I would mount it on the wall and create a shrine where I can pray to the tech gods every day. Sorry, where have you been…

Similar to the one that comes with the QN90B remote control, it charges via a solar panel and radio frequencies, ensuring no more AAA batteries are needed. It is simple, effective and does not take up much space on your bed.

Image quality is equally good when watching movies and TV. 8K image, with a resolution of 7680 x 4320 pixels, powered by quantum matrix technology and quantum neural processors, I understand some of them, but mostly I don’t.

However, I can tell you that it does not look great when viewing high-quality content on the screen. There is no mud here. QLED delivers deep blacks, vibrant colors and better upscaling of low-quality content.

The sound system is also very good for the TV. But honestly, I think most people considering an 8K TV are serious enough about their setup that they already have speakers or a surround sound system.

But if you’re not in those areas yet, you’ll get decent performance from the internal speakers.

It includes a 90W Dolby Atmos output and provides depth that delivers clear sound in any room. Bass is at a decent level, as my neighbors can definitely attest after I blasted some heavy metal YouTube videos.

Setting up the TV is a little trickier than the QN90B, with the One Connect box on a stand behind the monitor that acts as a hub for all of your HDMI cables.
