Kochi: Indian player Sanju Samson also reached the Kalur Stadium to watch the match of Kerala Blasters. Sanju was recently selected as the brand ambassador of Blasters. Sanju also released the Blasters’ playing XI for the match against Hyderabad FC. But Blasters could not win the last match at home. Defending champions Hyderabad won by one goal.

Sanju’s next tournament is the IPL. Sanju is the captain of Rajasthan Royals. Sanju was not included in the Indian squad for the ODI series against Australia.

Sanju had commented before the match that he can’t wait to watch a match with the fans at the stadium and support the team. A video of Sanju inviting fans to the stadium for the last home match of the season was released. ‘I will be there to support Kerala Blasters at our Kalur Stadium and you all should be with me.
