Not only Levy himself receives criticism, but also those who have forgiven him in recent times. Last week, Levy went on an informational visit to London, was interviewed by leading media outlets, spoke at the 100 days to the massacre rally and met with key figures. It was an important explanatory visit to one of the most important capitals in the world, which is currently facing enormous explanatory challenges. The visit was not financed by the state, but through private donors.
During the visit, Ambassador Hotobli hosted Levy and also uploaded a congratulatory post to the social networks at the end of their meeting. She wrote that everyone is very proud of his advocacy work and even thanked him for restoring Israelis’ trust in advocacy.

But not everyone liked this tweet. The Prime Minister’s wife, Sara Netanyahu, was outraged at the public hug given to Levy by an official. Netanyahu reprimanded Ambassador Hotobli and sent her an unequivocal message that this is not acceptable to her.
The Prime Minister’s Office stated: “The publication is false and incorrect.”
Ambassador Hotobli did not comment.
