Two films Ajith starrer Thadvu and Vijay starrer Warisu released for this Pongal.
The fans of both of them will turn it into a festival with banners and fireworks if the films of their favorite actors are released separately. Now that both their films have been released together for Pongal, they are celebrating with banners, posters and firecrackers everywhere in the theaters and important places. Accordingly, Ajith’s Thadhavu was screened at 1 am and Vijay’s Vaarisu at 4 am as special screenings.
Ajith fan Bharat Kumar died during this celebration. Bharat Kumar fell down while dancing on a lorry which was moving on the road in front of Rohini theater in Chennai. He was seriously injured and died while being admitted to the hospital. The funeral for the young man was completed the day after his death.
Actor and Social Justice People’s Party leader Sarathkumar personally visited the residence of the deceased Bharatkumar and condoled with the family. He said to the reporters, “If anyone is a fan, he is a cinema fan and it is the duty of the cinema lovers to condole the bereaved family.” And I have not given him any financial help, will he come alive if I give him money? He said that he has told the party officials in this area to do anything else to help the family.
