PaSaregama, an Indian film producer, entered the Malayalam film production scene. The Malayalam debut is in collaboration with Century, Kerala’s leading distributor company. The first film is Padavet starring Nivin Pauly.
Padavet is a film released under the banner of Sunny Wayne Productions. Aditi Balan, who is familiar to the Malayalees with the movie Aruvi, is the heroine. Manju Varrier plays another important role. Other actors include Shine Tom Chacko, Shammi Thilakan, Indrans, Vijayaraghavan, Kainakiri Thangaraj, Balan Parakkal. Deepak D. Menon handles the camera. Anwar Ali’s lyrics are composed by Govind Vasantha. Bibin Paul is the executive producer.
