Sathyan-Manika, Sarath-Achana Co-Development- Dinamani

India’s Sathyan-Manika Bhadra and Sarath-Achana have qualified for the round-16 round of the mixed doubles event at the World Table Tennis Championships.

The World Table Tennis Championships are being held in Houston, USA. In the mixed doubles, India’s Sarath Kamal-Achana Kamath defeated Egypt’s Dina-Oma 3-2 (9-11, 2-11, 11-5, 11-9, 11-4). Round 16 meets France’s Gia-Emmanuel pair.

In another third-round match, Sathyan Gnanasekaran and Manika defeated Pieto Rico’s Adriana-Brian 3-1 (11-6, 3-11, 11-7, 11-0). In Round 16, China-US will face Kanak Ja-Wang Manu.

Sathyan fell to Kathiri Aruna of Nigeria 3-4 in the Ottawa singles division. In the Ottawa doubles, Sathyan and Sarath lost 1-3 to Sweden’s Trolls-Anton.
