In February, Saudi Arabia increased oil production by 0.6% compared to January, exports by 0.3%, reports the website of the Joint Organization Data Initiative (JODI), Day.Az reports with reference to Interfax.

Saudi Arabia’s oil production in February amounted to 9.011 million b/d compared to 8.956 million b/d in January. In annual terms, this figure fell by 13.8%.

Export volumes amounted to 6.317 million barrels per day (b/d), compared with 6.297 million b/d in January. However, it was 15.3% less than in February 2023.

Iraq increased exports by 2.9% over the month, to 3.434 million b/d, and production by 0.3%, to 3.992 million b/d. At the same time, compared to February 2023, the first indicator decreased by 8.2%, the second – by 8%.

Oil production in Venezuela in February increased to 877 thousand b/d compared to 841 thousand b/d in the previous month. A year ago the figure was 704 thousand b/d. At the same time, supplies abroad from this country in the month before last amounted to 517 thousand b/d versus 407 thousand b/d in January and 537 thousand b/d a year earlier.

According to preliminary JODI estimates, the United States increased oil production in February by 5.9% to 13.276 million bpd. Meanwhile, over the year the figure increased by 5.9%.

Exports of American oil, according to the organization’s calculations, amounted to 4.632 million b/d in the month before last compared to 4.049 million b/d in January (an increase of 14.4%) and 3.998 million b/d in February 2023 (an increase of 15.9% ).
