Tarun Murthy’s film ‘Saudi Vellakka’ to New York Indian Film Festival. ‘Saudi Vellaka’ has been selected as an official selection at the film festival. Tarun Murthy himself informed about this through social media. The film has been screened at IFFI, Chennai International Film Festival, Goa International Film Festival, Pune International Film Festival, Dhaka International Film Festival and Bengaluru International Film Festival.
Saudi Vellaka is a social drama film. Produced by Sandeep Senan under the banner of Urvashi Theatres, ‘Saudi Vellakka’ has also been scripted by Tarun Murthy.
Lukman Awaran, Devi Varma, Siddharth Siva, Binu Pappu, Sujith Shankar, Gokulan, Srindha, Rhea Seira and Dhanya Ananya have played the lead roles in the film. Kuryan Chacko, who played the role of Lothar in the film ‘Manu Uncle’, was also a part of the film. After the theatrical release, ‘Saudi Vellaka’ received a lot of praise even when it was released in OTT.
