Riyadh: A Saudi woman was killed in an acid attack by her husband in Riyadh. Last Thursday in Jeddah, a young woman named Rehab was attacked by her husband with acid. The seriously injured young woman was killed instantly. The daughter of the first marriage was seriously injured after pouring acid on her.
The girl is recovering in the intensive care unit of King Fahad Hospital in Jeddah. The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a house in the Al Sameer district, east of Jeddah, police said. Five neighbors and civil defense firefighters who had suffered burns during the rescue operation in the acid attack have also come forward to file a separate complaint.
The woman’s body was buried in Makkah after the Asr prayers on Sunday. Many people attended the funeral prayers held after the Asr prayers at the Masjid-ul-Haram and the funeral at the Al-Shuhada mausoleum.
