The Savannah Bananas will expand their 2027 Banana Ball World Tour to 75 locations across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
International Expansion and Major Stadium Debuts
For the first time, the Banana Ball Championship League is crossing international borders. The 2027 schedule includes stops in Monterrey, Mexico, on February 5–6 and Tijuana on February 12–13, followed by Canadian dates in Toronto at the Rogers Centre on August 14–15 and Winnipeg on August 26 and 28. Owner Jesse Cole, who launched the team to revitalize interest in baseball at Savannah’s Grayson Stadium, noted that the international tour was 10 years in the making

The tour continues its push into large-scale sports facilities. Notable 2027 stops include a debut at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge on March 6, following a March 4 return to LSU’s Alex Box Stadium. In Chicago, the Bananas will play the first-ever baseball games at Soldier Field on July 10–11. Additionally, the league will introduce Banana Ball 360
at Notre Dame Stadium on June 26, where teams will play on two fields positioned on opposite corners of the football facility, switching sides every inning to ensure fans remain close to the action.
Ticket Lottery and Economic Impact
Tickets for the 2027 tour are available exclusively through a random drawing system rather than traditional public sales. Fans must register through the official Banana Ball website by October 31, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET. League officials emphasize that joining the lottery list does not guarantee an opportunity to purchase tickets, and registration timing does not affect an individual’s chances of being selected.
Local hosts view the events as significant economic drivers. In Pensacola, where Blue Wahoos Stadium will host games on May 21–22, owner Quint Studer highlighted the influx of travelers. They do so much research to show how many people from around an area come from out of town into these games and impact the hotels, the restaurants and so forth,
Studer said.

Development of the Banana Ball Championship League
The league has grown from a single team into a six-team organization featuring the Savannah Bananas, Party Animals, Loco Beach Coconuts, Texas Tailgaters, Indianapolis Clowns, and the Firefighters. The team’s rise in popularity, marked by viral moments such as pitchers performing on stilts, led to a dedicated exhibit at the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2023. Beyond live events, a Disney-produced documentary about the growth of Banana Ball is scheduled to debut at Truist Park in Atlanta on June 12, 2027.
While the tour reaches record scale, the league maintains its roots in Savannah. Grayson Stadium remains the central hub of the organization, with 30 events scheduled for the 2027 season.
